Position Summary:

Assists stylists with day to day duties and helps to maintain overall operation of the salon.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assist stylists with the setup of the work stations  Let stylist know that their next client is in  Write down the clients formulas if they are having color that day  Enter the updated formulas in the computer  Aid stylists by: washing hair, applying color, handing foils, rinsing perms, etc.  Assist salon operation by: doing laundry, making coffee, stocking cooler, vacuuming, etc.

Education and Experience:

 Must have a New York State Cosmetology License  One year of related work experience and a high school level education; or an equivalent combination of experience and education
