Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Master Barber to help elevate our team. This busy family friendly shop offers a clean and friendly work environment with great opportunity to grow a large client earning commission in addition to a salary. Must have experience, means of transportation, and availability to work full time. Duties Perform consultations for client, execute desired cuts, styles, and/or beard trims or shaves on clients. Help to maintain a safe family friendly work environment. Maintain standards by adhering to sanitation protocols for tools, equipment, and workspaces. Upsell products and services effectively to enhance client satisfaction while increasing revenue opportunities. Stay current with industry trends in hair cutting, hair styling techniques, hair care innovations, and grooming styles to provide cutting-edge services. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their desires and educate them on maintenance routines for long-lasting results. Accommodating customers hours and needs in order to grow a clientele. Qualifications Proven experience working in the barbering industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling, and grooming services. Extensive knowledge of sanitation practices essential for maintaining a safe salon environment. Certification & license in barbering from an accredited institution In New York State.
