As a Licensed Barber, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch barbering services, including traditional and modern cuts, shaves, and grooming treatments. Responsibilities Perform a variety of barbering services such as haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming treatments with precision and care Consult with clients to understand their style preferences and recommend suitable haircuts, styles, and grooming products Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and store policies Upsell retail products including hair care, styling products, and grooming essentials to enhance client satisfaction Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in haircutting, styling, sanitation practices, and customer service Skills Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry Expertise in traditional barbering techniques Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and understanding their needs Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques while maintaining excellent customer service Deep understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Familiarity with store management principles including front desk operations and retail math Experience mentoring team members to foster skill development and professional growth
