Consult with clients to understand their desired look, provide expert advice on hair care products, and upsell retail items to enhance their experience. Stay informed about current trends in hair stylingand barbering to offer innovative services. Manage store operations by assisting with inventory management, retail math calculations, and mentoring new team members. Foster excellent client communication by listening attentively and delivering personalized recommendations for hair care routines and treatments. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in hair cuts for kids Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms. Strong understanding of color theory and hair care products to advise clients effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with diverse clientele. Ability to perform detailed work using tools like straight razors while maintaining high safety standards. Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and store management is highly desirable.
