Upsell retail products like hair care items and styling tools to enhance client results and boost salon revenue through retail sales. Stay current on industry trends such as hair threading, balayage techniques, and color theory to provide innovative services. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in store management practices, customer communication, and technical skills like barbering or using a straight razor. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse hair services. Knowledge of salon software systems such as
MINDBODY
for appointment scheduling and client management. Skilled in hair coloring techniques, hair extensions application, and advanced styling methods. Familiarity with sanitation protocols specific to cosmetology practices to ensure client safety at all times. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing personalized consultations. Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
