The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology or barbering and possess exceptional skills in hair styling, cutting, and coloring. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services to clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your creativity and expertise will help clients achieve their desired looks, making them feel confident and beautiful. Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs. Utilize techniques such as straight razor cutting for precision styles. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments. Perform makeup application services as needed to enhance client looks. Assist clients with hair extensions, ensuring proper application and maintenance. Maintain an organized front desk area, managing appointments and client inquiries efficiently. Promote retail products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their experience. Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments. Skills Proficient in barbering and cosmetology techniques with relevant certifications. Strong skills in straight razor cutting and various hair styling methods. Experience in retail sales with the ability to effectively upsell products. Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations. Ability to mentor others and foster a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of makeup application techniques is a plus.
