Experienced Hair Braider / Hairstylist - Weekend Opportunity Damaris Beauty Parlor is growing and seeking experienced hair braiders and hairstylists to join our salon team. This opportunity is a great fit for experienced beauty professionals who may already have a weekday job or other commitments and are looking for additional opportunities to work with salon clients. Schedule Saturday availability is required. Some Sunday availability may also be needed depending on client bookings and salon demand. Sunday appointments begin at 1:00 PM. For Fridays, we may reach out based on client bookings and your availability. There may also be opportunities to take clients during the week. Weekday scheduling is flexible and based on your availability. We understand that some stylists may have other jobs or commitments during the week. Our goal is to work with your availability while making sure our busiest client days are properly covered. Compensation This is a commission-based hairstylist position. Compensation varies based on services performed and applicable client tips. Additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities Provide professional braiding and hairstyling services Consult with clients regarding their desired styles and hair-care needs Perform services that may include knotless braids, cornrows, twists, sew-ins, quick weaves, tape-ins, I-tips, protective styles, and related services Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation Follow proper sanitation procedures for tools and equipment Educate clients on hair maintenance and aftercare Provide professional and friendly customer service Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Previous braiding and/or hairstyling experience required Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Must be available on Saturdays Some Sunday availability preferred Flexible availability for occasional Friday or weekday appointments is a plus Portfolio or photos of previous work required Why Join Damaris Beauty Parlor?
