Your expertise in barbering, hair care, and customer service will help create a welcoming environment where clients return time and again. Your mastery of traditional barbering techniques combined with modern trends will ensure every client leaves looking their best. Duties Provide expert barbering services including haircutting, styling, beard trimming, straight razor shaves, and hair coloring to meet each client's unique preferences. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable hair care products or additional services like hair extensions or eyelash extensions. Help manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and upselling retail products to enhance client experience. Work as a team sharing techniques in hair styling, hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and retail sales strategies. Stay current with industry trends in hair coloring, cutting techniques, and new grooming products to provide innovative services. Assist with store management duties such as inventory control, retail math calculations, and maintaining a welcoming salon atmosphere. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Expertise in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and traditional grooming styles. Strong knowledge of hair care products, color theory, hair extensions, and advanced styling methods. Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration. Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience with retail sales techniques such as upselling and retail math calculations to promote product sales. Skills in additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair threading are a plus.
