Duties Directly assist the lead stylist with shampooing, blowdries, styling, finishing techniques, mixing color, applying color and toners, Prepare clients for services by setting up for the stylist, ensuring comfort, offering refreshments Maintain salon cleanliness by sanitizing tools, equipment, and workstations according to sanitation standards, performing light cleaning duties Manage responsibilities such as scheduling appointments using salon software like rosy salon software, greeting clients warmly, and handling client communication professionally. Support retail sales by upselling hair care products, retail math calculations, and recommending suitable items to clients. Assist with store management tasks including inventory checks of hair products, retail stock organization, and store cleanliness. Mentor new team members on salon procedures and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative environment. Skills Proficiency with salon software systems such as rosy salon software for scheduling and client management. Knowledge of hair care techniques including hair coloring, hair styling, men's hair cutting Experience working in the beauty industry with a solid understanding of cosmetology principles and color theory. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members while providing exceptional customer service. Ability to perform specialized services like makeup application is a plus but not required Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
