Job Description:

In general, your key focus areas are: Sell memberships Sell gift cards Upgrade services with enhancements Sell retail products Hire, train, measure, monitor, and motivate the front desk Spa Associates to do all of the above. An addition, major responsibilities and expectations are highlighted below. Meet membership sales and conversion rate goals Overcome objections during the sales process and increase the membership base Have a detailed knowledge of the menu of services Have excellent customer service to members and guests, while building lasting relationships Effectively communicate sales, promotions, and service options with clients Create an excellent experience for members/guests with a friendly, energetic, and helpful attitude Use sound judgment, and work independently with minimal supervision Maintain the utmost cleanliness and soothing ambiance of the premises Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction, address customer dissatisfaction, resolve service complaints Plan, execute and manage key elements of the spa operations. Effectively manage supply and retail inventory and notify manager prior to running out Assess the needs of the business on a day-to-day basis to ensure proper room assignments of therapists, availability and readiness of supplies needed for services (e.g., hot stones turned on for first appointment, availability of hand and foot scrub, etc.), putting in breaks to ensure MTs/LEs are not overbooked, etc. Handle customer issues in the absence of the manager using judgement Make outbound calls to customers to confirm appointments, book appointments, and notify them of promotions Assist with Spa recruiting and recruiting events Assist with community events and other activities to increase the spa's prospect count Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor Spa Associates according to Hand & Stone policies and procedures Motivate and empower the Spa Associate team to achieve high standards Track Spa Associate schedules efficiently to optimize capacity, revenue, and profits Act as a back up to the Spa Manager when not in the spa or when unavailable Perform various other duties as assigned Lift up to 30lbs during the normal course of business Smoking and vaping is not permitted during working hours Experience Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Proven ability to promote and sell services. Proficient in stock management and inventory control practices. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
