Responsibilities Operate cremation equipment, including traditional cremation units, ensuring proper setup and shutdown procedures. Transport remains for cremation with care, respecting all legal and ethical guidelines. Witness cremations to ensure transparency and uphold funeral ethics standards. Manage post-cremation processing using specialized equipment, including sorting, cleaning, and preparing remains for final disposition. Maintain accurate record keeping of all cremation processes, including documentation of each case in compliance with regulatory requirements. Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including heavy lifting, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and handling hazardous materials safely. Experience Prior experience in crematory operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment used in cremation processes is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate industrial machinery effectively.
