Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Licensed Esthetician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional skincare and aesthetic treatments, helping clients look and feel their best. You will utilize your expertise in various cosmetic procedures, including permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and more, to provide personalized solutions that enhance each client's natural beauty. Duties Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and skin treatments using advanced techniques. Execute specialized cosmetic procedures such as lip blush, tattooing, permanent makeup, eyeliner pigment application, and microblading with precision and safety. Adhere strictly to tattooing and piercing safety regulations, sanitation standards, infection control protocols, and state licensing requirements to ensure client safety. Consult with clients to understand their aesthetic goals, communicate treatment options clearly, and provide expert advice on skincare routines and product recommendations. Maintain accurate medical records and electronic medical record (EMR) systems for each client while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to esthetic laser treatments, color theory, anatomy knowledge, and new cosmetic techniques. Promote retail sales of skincare products and aesthetic treatments by educating clients on benefits and usage to enhance their results. Requirements Valid state license as a Licensed Esthetician with certification in cosmetology or related fields. Proven experience in providing esthetic treatments such as facials, dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and makeup application. Skilled in advanced procedures including lip blush tattooing, microblading, eyeliner pigment application, and esthetic laser treatments. Knowledge of tattooing and piercing safety regulations along with strict sanitation practices for infection control. Strong client communication skills with the ability to understand individual needs and deliver personalized recommendations confidently. Familiarity with EMR systems for managing client records efficiently and securely. Ability to perform hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion procedures, and other aesthetic services accurately. Enthusiastic about continuing education in areas such as color theory, anatomy knowledge, medical records management, and new beauty techniques.
