Agapi Wellness Center is seeking a skilled, warm, and dependable Licensed Esthetician with waxing experience to join our growing holistic wellness team. Agapi is a thoughtfully designed wellness center offering personalized esthetic services, massage therapy, Reiki, yoga, Pilates, and restorative experiences. We are not a high-volume spa. Our approach is personal, unhurried, and centered on helping every client feel genuinely cared for. This is a part-time position with an immediate need for Tuesday and weekend coverage. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform customized facials, brow and lash services, and facial and body waxing
• Provide thoughtful consultations and personalized home-care recommendations
• Perform waxing services confidently while helping clients feel comfortable and respected
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and licensing requirements
• Keep the treatment room clean, prepared, and welcoming
• Educate clients about appropriate products without high-pressure sales tactics
• Support client retention through excellent service and genuine relationship-building
• Collaborate respectfully with Agapi's wellness practitioners and front-desk team

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Esthetician or Cosmetology license
• Professional liability insurance
• Strong facial and body waxing skills
• Thorough knowledge of skin health, sanitation, and treatment protocols
• Warm, polished, and reliable client care
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Weekend availability is required
• Experience in holistic skincare, Reiki, energy work, facial massage, gua sha, aromatherapy, or other complementary wellness practices is a plus
• Experience is preferred, but the right licensed candidate with strong skills and professionalism will be considered

Compensation and Benefits:

• 40% commission on services performed
• 10% commission on retail products sold

Schedule:

Part-time, with priority given to candidates available Friday through Sunday. Tuesday hours are also available.
