Job Description
Overview The Glo Lounge Med Spa is a newly opened, luxury med spa built on an established beauty business with a loyal client base and a passion for exceptional service. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a modern, supportive spa where quality, professionalism, and exceptional client care come first. Responsibilities Perform eyelash extension applications, facial treatments, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and other aesthetic services with precision and care. Administer advanced treatments such as microneedling, laser therapies, and hair removal procedures following safety protocols. Provide exceptional client communication by understanding their needs and recommending suitable treatments or products. Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software like Vagaro to ensure smooth scheduling and record-keeping. Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff, including proper sterilization of tools and treatment areas. Assist with retail sales by demonstrating product demos and upselling skincare or beauty products to enhance client results. Engage with social media to promote services, share client success stories, and build our community presence online. Qualifications Valid licensure as an Esthetician or Cosmetologist; additional certifications in Medical Esthetics are a plus. Experience working in the beauty industry with skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, or body waxing. Knowledge of esthetic laser treatments, MicroNeedling, chemical peels, and other advanced skin therapies. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to connect with diverse clients. Familiarity with salon software such as Vagaro, for scheduling and client records. Ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in retail sales, social media, and guest service excellence is highly desirable.
