Job Description
We are seeking a licensed, experienced Wax Specialist to join our small, women-owned spa! This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is confident, professional, personable, and passionate about providing exceptional client experiences. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is motivated to grow with our business and become an integral part of our spa community. Compensation Starting compensation is commission + tips Opportunity to transition to hourly compensation based on successful performance and execution of the position Opportunity to build and grow your clienteleResponsibilities Perform professional waxing services, including male and female Brazilian waxing Provide expert brow shaping Recommend and sell service packages and retail products Process payments and operate the POS system Answer phone calls and assist with appointment scheduling Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment Perform light cleaning and general spa maintenance Remain for the entire scheduled shift Participate in local networking and community events Help promote the business through social media and other marketing efforts Work collaboratively with the team to provide an outstanding client experienceRequirements Current NJ Esthetician or Cosmetology License 2+ years of spa experience Strong experience and confidence in waxing services Well-versed in Brazilian waxing and brow shaping Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable discussing and selling packages and retail products Reliable, punctual, and professional Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Must be comfortable working with both male and female clients Ability to work independently while also being a strong team playerPreferred, But Not Required Existing clientele Professional portfolio of work Experience with social media marketing or promoting a personal service business Experience participating in community networking eventsWho We're Looking For We want someone who genuinely wants to grow alongside a small, women-owned business.
