Applicants must hold a current New York State Esthetics or Cosmetology License . Previous experience as an esthetician, hairstylist, salon assistant, shampoo assistant or beauty professional is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable with social media, including capturing quality photos and videos, creating engaging content, appearing in occasional posts or reels and helping showcase our scalp services online. Responsibilities Conduct thorough consultations to assess scalp conditions, hair health, and client goals, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools. Deliver a variety of scalp treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, and targeted therapy sessions designed to promote healthy hair growth. Manage treatment plans by educating clients on proper scalp care routines, product recommendations, and lifestyle adjustments for optimal results. Utilize salon software for upcoming appointments and maintaining client records. Engage actively in social media management by creating content, promoting services, and building a strong online community around scalp health topics. Uphold strict sanitation standards during all procedures to ensure client safety. Demonstrate excellent communication skills by clearly explaining treatment options, addressing client questions with confidence, and fostering a welcoming environment. Assist with retail product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction while supporting business growth. Collaborate with team members across front desk operations and guest services to ensure seamless client experiences from check-in to follow-up.
