Job Description

Shades by Shar Nail & Beauty Lounge is seeking a licensed esthetician to provide professional and exceptional esthetic services at our new private suites location. We are passionate about creativity, quality, and customer satisfaction, and pride ourselves on our commitment to healthy beauty care in our pristine personable salon suite atmosphere.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Esthetician to join the Shades team or operate your own Brand in a collaborative suite space alongside a popular nail technician. Ideal candidate will have a passion for skin care, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards and ensuring our clients leave with a rejuvenating skin regimen and a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform skin care services such as facials, skin and body treatment, waxing, and lash services with proper certification. Suggest enhancements such as anti aging, detoxing, back facials, etc. Proper procedues and techniques for services requested by clients, as well as knowledge for recommendations etc. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and tools. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and comfort. Advise clients on proper skin care and recommend products as needed. Stay updated on the latest skin and beauty trends, techniques, and products. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

1+ year experience as an Estheticician, and/or recently graduated student with a following and skill set ready to perform services. Active Esthetician License in New York State. Strong knowledge, proficiency and familiarity of standard and new skin care techniques. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. Friendly and professional demeanor. Experience in a high-end salon or spa environment.
