Responsibilities Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, tunnel dryers, conveyor dryers, and other laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Perform laundry washing using appropriate techniques such as bleach washing, fabric care machine operation, barrier washer operation, and steam cleaning. Execute mechanical stain removal processes including baking soda stain removal, hot water stain removal, cold water stain removal, and fabric-specific cleaning methods. Manage laundry folding using specialized folding machines and manually fold garments with precision. Label garments accurately to ensure proper identification and handling throughout the laundry process. Conduct laundry ironing and pressing using pressing machines to achieve crisp finishes. Maintain an organized workspace by tracking inventory levels, replenishing supplies such as cleaning agents, bleach, and stain removers. Operate push carts and handle large volumes of laundry efficiently within designated work areas. Support laundry maintenance tasks including machine safety procedures and routine cleaning to ensure optimal operation. Assist with customer service tasks such as cashiering when required and responding professionally to guest inquiries related to laundry services. Qualifications Prior experience operating commercial laundry equipment including dryers, washers, tunnel washers, steam cleaners, and pressing machines. Knowledge of fabric care techniques and stain removal methods such as baking soda, hot water, cold water treatments. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems for supplies management. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machine operation and chemical handling. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
