Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundromat Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our laundry operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional laundry services to our customers, ensuring garments are processed with care, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for all patrons while upholding the highest standards of garment care and cleanliness. Hiring Criteria The ideal candidate will have the following: Happy, friendly, welcoming personality Must be able to multi-task Attention to detail A love of cleaning and general focus on neatness and optics Ability to be on feet for 5-7 hours Tech savvy. Able to use phone app to start machines Capable of using and understanding POS system Must be able to fold all varieties of laundry professionally and with efficiency Must enjoy diversity and be able to speak to a wide range of customers and guests Must be able to handle de-escalation as needed. Problem solving and conflict resolution Non-Smoking (due to allergic sensitivities of customer laundry) Experience Previous experience in hospitality or hotel laundry services is highly desirable. Knowledge of fabric care principles and proper use of cleaning detergents. Experience operating dryers, washers, or other laundry equipment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently while lifting heavy loads when necessary. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory counts effectively.
