The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments in a hotel or similar environment. This position involves operating laundry equipment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens, uniforms, and guest clothing. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate items. Inspect items for stains or damages and take appropriate action to address issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry attendant role or similar position is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
