You will be responsible for ensuring all laundry operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to a welcoming and hygienic experience for everyone we serve. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle textiles and laundry materials carefully, ensuring proper sorting, washing, and sanitation procedures are followed. Manage laundry materials handling using push carts and other equipment to transport items safely throughout the facility. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of laundry loads while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all laundry areas, including cleaning machines and workspaces regularly. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents, including proper use of laundry detergents and chemicals. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely completion of laundry services and addressing any special requests or concerns. Experience Previous experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as industrial washers and dryers is advantageous. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing quantities accurately. Knowledge of safety standards related to sanitation, chemical handling, and manual handling procedures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions for laundry processes including dry cleaning when applicable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety protocol adherence. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service.
