Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, care, and organization of all laundry items, contributing to a seamless guest experience and maintaining high standards of garment care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in laundry machinery operation, fabric care, and customer service within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently. Perform fabric care procedures including dry cleaning, bleach washing, steam cleaning, and mechanical stain removal to restore garments to optimal condition. Label items accurately for proper identification and tracking throughout the laundry process. Fold laundry items neatly using laundry folding machines or manual techniques, maintaining an organized workspace. Manage inventory tracking of supplies such as detergents, stain removers like baking soda and hot/cold water stain removal agents, and other laundry chemicals. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by following cleaning schedules and procedures regularly. Support the use of garment care machines including stackable dryers, laundry steam cleaners, and laundry folding machines for optimal results. Experience Prior experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is highly preferred. Knowledge of fabric care techniques including stain removal (baking soda, hot water stains), bleach washing, cold water stain removal, and mechanical stain removal methods. Strong understanding of inventory management for laundry supplies and chemicals. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or team members. Ability to stand for extended periods while performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
