Laundry Aide
  • Midnights (Westland, MI) Join our Award Winning team at Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center!
Bronze National Quality award winners! The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.
You will earn:

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care! You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done. What you will need to be part of our EPIC team: 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care, nursing home environment preferred. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
