Elmwood Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing of Fremont is currently hiring for a Part Time Laundry Aid position. This position shift is generally 6 am to 3:30 pm however, these hours can be adjusted based on the applicant's preference, three days per week and every other weekend plus rotating Holidays. The Laundry Aid is responsible for the following: Sorts dirty laundry and washes items in the most efficient manner to include resident personal clothing, bath linens, and bed sheets. Washes all dirty laundry in accordance with the established procedures to assure sanitary handling of both clean and dirty laundry. Folds dried clothing and linens and places resident's clothing and the facility's laundry in the appropriate suite or designated clean laundry areas. Inspects clothing for excess wear, tears, lost buttons, etc. and assures they are replaced or repaired. Maintains the laundry room facilities in an organized and efficient manner. Assures that all clothing is clearly labeled. Any other duties as assigned.
