Job Summary Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Inspector/Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. In this versatile role, you will help ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay by inspecting guest rooms for quality and cleanliness while supporting daily laundry operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, handling hotel linens with care, and working closely with the housekeeping team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. As needed, you may also assist with Houseperson duties, including cleaning and maintaining public areas, replenishing supplies, and supporting the housekeeping department to ensure the hotel remains clean, organized, and guest-ready. Duties Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with hotel quality standards. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or room deficiencies promptly to the appropriate department. Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute hotel linens, towels, and other laundry using commercial laundry equipment. Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens for guest rooms and housekeeping operations. Safely operate laundry equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with hotel policies and safety procedures. Stock housekeeping carts with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, storage areas, and workspaces. Follow proper sanitation, infection control, and safety standards at all times. Assist guests and team members in a courteous, professional, and timely manner. Perform occasional Houseperson duties, including cleaning and maintaining public areas such as the lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other common spaces. Replenish supplies in public areas and assist with housekeeping projects as needed. Assist with moving supplies, linens, and equipment, including lifting and transporting items as required.
