This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves all things beauty, skincare, makeup, and fashion and enjoys helping women feel confident in what they wear and the products they use. At Sprig, our customers look to our team for knowledgeable, personalized recommendations. Strong knowledge of beauty, skincare, and makeup is an important part of this position. You should be comfortable discussing skincare needs, recommending products, color matching cosmetics, and helping customers choose makeup that works for their skin, coloring, lifestyle, and preferences. Our team provides partial makeup applications, complexion and foundation color matching, skincare consultations, product education, and personalized beauty recommendations. Applicants should have previous beauty knowledge and be excited to continually learn about clean ingredients, skincare, makeup techniques, and the brands we carry. This is also a fashion sales and styling position. Our associates work one-on-one with customers to style clothing available at Sprig, recommend pieces, put together complete outfits, suggest fit and sizing, and help customers discover clothing that makes them feel confident. You do not need to be a professional stylist, but you must enjoy fashion and be willing and excited to style customers. As your experience and clientele grow, there may be opportunities to build bookable makeup artistry and personal styling appointments , work with clients one-on-one, and expand your role within Sprig's beauty and styling services. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of and genuine interest in makeup, skincare, and beauty Interest in clean cosmetics, skincare, ingredients, and product education Previous makeup application experience or a strong foundation in makeup application Comfortable providing foundation and complexion color matching Willingness to learn Sprig's beauty brands, products, ingredients, and application techniques Strong interest in women's fashion and personal styling Comfortable helping customers select clothing, create outfits, and find flattering fits A warm, confident approach to customer service and sales Ability to initiate conversations and make thoughtful product recommendations Basic math and computer skills Ability to work independently in a retail environment Ability to assist with retail merchandising, displays, and maintaining a beautiful sales floor Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative Must be 18 years or older Professional beauty licensing or advanced makeup artistry training is a plus, but not required About Sprig Sprig is more than a traditional retail store.
