Nail Technician Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional nail care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling pampered and satisfied. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for creating beautiful nail designs, maintaining hygiene standards, and building lasting relationships with clients. Your expertise in nail care and customer service will contribute to the overall success of our salon. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services. Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and products. Upsell additional services or products based on client needs and preferences. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design and techniques. Handle retail sales of nail care products effectively, utilizing retail math skills when necessary. Experience Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a related field is preferred. Knowledge of retail sales practices and upselling techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with hair extensions, hair styling, color theory, barbering, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
