Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that meet client preferences Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction Educate clients on nail care routines, maintenance tips, and retail product options to enhance their experience Upsell additional services like body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments when appropriate Follow salon policies on sanitation standards and safety regulations to ensure a clean environment for all clients Skills Extensive knowledge of nail care techniques including manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions Strong understanding of color theory to assist in designing personalized nail art Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and sanitation standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nail services and esthetic treatments Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor Proficiency in retail math for product recommendations and sales transactions Knowledge of additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, body waxing, hair threading, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure a positive salon atmosphere Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets your passion for beauty!
