Your expertise in various nail techniques, combined with your vibrant customer service skills, will help create a welcoming atmosphere where clients can indulge in top-tier treatments. Duties Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and care. Apply advanced techniques such as nail art, color theory, and intricate designs to enhance client satisfaction. Conduct sanitation and disinfection procedures in accordance with salon safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and educate on nail care and maintenance. Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and tools to enhance the client experience and boost salon sales. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment following disinfection procedures throughout each shift. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like gel manicures, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser treatments to offer innovative services. Experience Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician within the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices. Ability to perform additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, threading, dermabrasion, or body waxing is a plus. Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their individual needs. Experience in retail sales or upselling beauty products is advantageous. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required where applicable.
