Pay Based on Experience Job Overview Austin Kade Academy is seeking a passionate, professional, and student-focused Nail Technology Instructor to educate, mentor, and inspire the next generation of nail professionals. This is an opportunity to take your experience behind the nail table and use it to make a meaningful difference in students' lives. As a Nail Technology Instructor, you will combine classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, coaching, and individual mentorship to help students develop the technical skills, confidence, creativity, and professional habits they need to build successful careers in the beauty industry. We are looking for someone who is skilled in nail technology, enjoys working with people, and is excited about sharing their knowledge with aspiring professionals. Teaching experience is valuable, but just as important is a genuine desire to help students learn, grow, and succeed. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction in nail technology theory, techniques, client care, and professional practices Teach and demonstrate manicures, pedicures, artificial nail enhancements, nail art, product application, and other services included within the program curriculum Demonstrate proper use of professional tools, equipment, and products while reinforcing safe and effective techniques Develop, enhance, and deliver lesson plans that are organized, engaging, and appropriate for a variety of adult learning styles Coach and supervise students during hands-on practice and client services, helping them improve technique, confidence, consistency, and efficiency Help students develop strong client consultation, communication, customer service, and service-recommendation skills Evaluate student performance and progress through practical assessments, classroom activities, and other established evaluation methods Provide clear, constructive, and encouraging feedback to help students continually improve Promote professional habits including punctuality, accountability, teamwork, communication, professional appearance, sanitation, and ethical client care Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, practical progress, evaluations, and other required documentation Maintain and reinforce high standards for sanitation, infection control, safety, and professional conduct Create a positive, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, participation, and student growth Stay current with nail industry trends, products, techniques, and best practices and incorporate relevant developments into instruction Work collaboratively with fellow instructors, administration, and school leadership to support student achievement and the overall goals of Austin Kade Academy Qualifications Current Idaho Nail Technician, Cosmetology, or other applicable professional license Current instructor credential, or the ability and willingness to obtain the appropriate instructor credential required to teach Nail Technology Professional experience providing nail services with strong technical knowledge of nail technology Knowledge of manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, nail art, sanitation, infection control, client consultation, and professional salon practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain techniques and concepts clearly Ability to motivate, encourage, and connect with students from a variety of backgrounds and learning styles Organized and dependable, with the ability to effectively manage classroom instruction, hands-on education, and required student documentation Professional, positive, patient, and team-oriented approach Genuine passion for mentoring and helping aspiring nail professionals succeed Commitment to student success and maintaining high educational and professional standards Prior teaching or classroom experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
