Duties Perform a wide range of nail services including gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and intricate nail art using color theory principles to create stunning designs. Conduct professional pedicures and manicures that prioritize client comfort and safety while adhering to salon sanitation and disinfection procedures. Apply esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or exfoliation to enhance nail and skin health. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following salon safety protocols and sanitation standards at all times. Upsell retail products like nail care items, skincare products, or tools to enhance client results and increase sales revenue. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques such as eyelash extensions or hair styling add-ons, and ongoing education to elevate service quality. Requirements Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions. Strong understanding of color theory to create personalized designs that match client preferences. Knowledge of salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and sanitation standards essential for maintaining a hygienic environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Certification in cosmetology or related esthetic fields is preferred; licensing requirements vary by location. Ability to perform detailed work with precision while managing multiple clients efficiently.
