Duties Perform professional manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and artistry. Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and preferences. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and upsell retail products such as nail care essentials or body waxing services. Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails. Keep detailed records of services provided, products used, and client preferences to enhance personalized service delivery. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with specialization in nail technology from an accredited program. Proven experience working as a licensed nail technician in a professional salon or spa environment. Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols. Skilled in various techniques including gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, and pedicures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs. Knowledge of retail sales strategies such as upselling products related to nail care or beauty treatments. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
