Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients' skin tones and preferences Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, workstations, and treatment areas Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate Ensure client comfort throughout treatments by creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining professional communication Stay updated on the latest industry trends including esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, and other beauty services offered at the spa Support retail sales efforts by promoting nail care products and accessories that enhance client results and satisfaction Requirements Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in selecting personalized nail designs Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Knowledge of additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor Strong communication skills combined with attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality nail care services Embark on a rewarding career where your artistry transforms clients' confidence!
