Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper disinfection of tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and ensure a positive experience Upsell retail products such as nail care items, polishes, and treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Stay current with industry trends like eyelash extensions, body waxing, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion techniques, and other beauty services to offer comprehensive care options Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere Requirements Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylic application, and nail extensions Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs Familiarity with color theory principles and advanced nail techniques such as acrylics and gel manicures Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a client-focused approach Experience working with additional beauty services like eyelash extensions or body waxing is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your talent transforms everyday moments into extraordinary experiences!
