Duties Perform a wide range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, gel extensions, and nail art with precision and artistry. Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, intricate designs, and color blending to meet client preferences. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance. Provide expert advice on nail care routines, product recommendations, and aftercare to enhance client satisfaction. Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and deliver personalized service. Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and tools to boost sales while enhancing client results. Assist with additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified. Stay current on industry trends including color theory, new techniques in dermabrasion or hair threading to offer innovative solutions. Support retail sales efforts by accurately handling transactions using retail math skills and upselling strategies. Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by fostering positive relationships with clients and team members alike. Experience Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role with a strong portfolio of nail art and care techniques. Knowledge of color theory to create harmonious designs tailored to each client's style. Familiarity with sanitation protocols aligned with health regulations for safe practice. Certification in cosmetology or related beauty disciplines is required; additional training in esthetic laser treatment or hair threading is a plus. Skilled in various nail care procedures including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs. Experience with retail sales techniques such as upselling and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatments and build rapport with diverse clientele. Ability to adapt quickly to new trends like eyelash extensions or dermabrasion treatments while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
