We are a 5.0-rated, woman-owned and Hispanic-owned salon known for quality work, a relaxing atmosphere, and attentive client care. This is a full-time, in-person role for an experienced professional who can confidently perform appointments independently from day one. Our online booking presence, strong repeat business, walk-in traffic, and wide service menu create opportunities to build a steady schedule. Schedule and compensation Approximately 20-30 hours per week Flexible scheduling within salon hours Salon hours: 9:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-5:30pm Weekend availability is required Hourly pay based on experience and technical skill, plus commission and tips Services you should be confident performing Classic and gel manicures and pedicures Acrylic full sets, fill-ins, shaping, repairs, and safe removal UV gel fills, tips, extensions, overlays, and full sets French tips, chrome/cat-eye finishes, and current nail-art techniques Natural nail care and consultation Proper sanitation, disinfection, and workstation setup between every client What you'll do Deliver consistent, high-quality services while keeping appointments on time Consult with clients, recommend suitable services, and set realistic expectations Create a warm, professional experience that encourages repeat bookings Maintain clean tools, products, and work areas in accordance with New York sanitation standards Document services and manage appointments using our Fresha booking system Support the team during busy periods and help maintain an organized, welcoming salon Stay current on products, techniques, trends, and safe service practices Required qualifications At least 2 years of recent professional salon experience preferred Strong acrylic and UV gel skills; gel manicure and pedicure proficiency required Portfolio or professional social media showing recent work Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional communication Comfortable serving a diverse clientele and working in a collaborative spa environment Able to work selected evenings and weekends What we offer Established client demand and active online booking through Fresha Modern, relaxing salon with a broad service menu Supportive team environment with opportunities to grow repeat clientele Convenient downtown New Rochelle location near public transportation A highly rated workplace focused on quality, comfort, and client satisfaction Ellen's Spa is an equal opportunity employer.
