Your expertise in color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, and sanitation will ensure every service is performed to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions with precision and care Apply advanced techniques such as nail art, color blending, and intricate designs to create personalized looks for each client Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and nail care tools to enhance client experience and increase sales Stay current with industry trends in esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair styling, body waxing, hair threading, and other beauty services to offer comprehensive solutions Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that promotes client loyalty Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and latest trends in gel manicures, acrylic applications, and nail extensions Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively, understand their needs, and provide tailored recommendations Experience with retail sales techniques such as upselling products and managing retail math for optimal revenue generation Additional skills in esthetic laser treatments, hair extensions, barbering, or other beauty services are a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets exceptional service!
