Duties Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and care Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that match clients' preferences and trends Maintain strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience Upsell retail products such as nail care items, lotions, and tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in nail art, gel techniques, and new product offerings Follow disinfection procedures rigorously between appointments to uphold hygiene standards Requirements Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions Strong understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, and disinfection procedures Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with diverse clients Knowledge of color theory for creating appealing nail art designs Ability to perform esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or body waxing is a plus but not required Cosmetology license or relevant certification required by local regulations Passion for beauty trends including eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, or esthetic laser treatments is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to showcase their technical skills while providing outstanding customer service.
