Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience. Upsell retail products such as nail care items, polishes, and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Stay current with industry trends like eyelash extensions, dermabrasion treatments, and esthetic laser procedures to offer comprehensive beauty services. Manage appointment schedules efficiently while providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of nail work. Knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with color theory, nail art design, and advanced techniques such as body waxing or hair threading is a plus. Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals. Ability to follow salon safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and disinfection procedures. Experience in retail sales or upselling products to enhance client satisfaction is preferred. Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Technology from an accredited program is required.
