Duties Perform a variety of manicure and pedicure treatments, including gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients' skin tones and preferences Conduct sanitation and disinfection procedures in accordance with salon safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide nail care advice, and upsell retail products such as nail polishes or skincare items Execute additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair extensions when qualified Educate clients on proper nail care routines and maintenance tips to prolong the longevity of their treatments Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and enhance your skills through ongoing training Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, nail art techniques, and current trends in nail design Proficiency in applying various types of nail enhancements including gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and OSHA regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nail care or esthetics; cosmetology license preferred Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing professional recommendations Team player available weekends Must have own tools 2 years of experience plus Bilingual is a must English and Spanish Basic retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory effectively Join us to elevate your career in the beauty industry!
