Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions with precision and artistry. Apply advanced techniques such as color theory to create personalized nail designs that match client preferences. Conduct esthetic services like dermabrasion, body waxing, hair threading, and eyelash extensions to provide comprehensive beauty care. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer product recommendations, and upsell retail items confidently. Ensure all services meet high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety while creating a relaxing atmosphere for clients. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, skin care, and beauty treatments to continually enhance your skills and service offerings. Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in nail care and esthetic treatments. Certification in cosmetology or nail technician with current state licensure. Knowledge of nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and color theory is essential. Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. Strong communication skills combined with attention to detail to ensure client satisfaction and safety.
