Responsibilities Provide professional nail services including manicures, gel manicures, pedicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and nail care consultations. Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that match client preferences and current trends. Perform advanced nail techniques such as nail extensions, gel enhancements, and acrylic application with precision and attention to detail. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products or additional services. Stay updated on the latest industry trends such as eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, body waxing, hair styling, and hair extensions to provide comprehensive beauty solutions. Manage retail sales efficiently by applying retail math skills to promote products that enhance client results while supporting salon revenue goals. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a related role within the beauty industry. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and disinfection procedures specific to salon environments. Skilled in various nail techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and manicure treatments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their preferences. Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting complementary shades and designs. Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing exceptional customer service. Familiarity with salon safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment at all times.
