SALON OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Hair Lounge | Killeen, TXPart-Time | In Person Are you an organized, take-charge leader who loves creating structure, solving problems, and helping a team succeed? The Hair Lounge is looking for a confident and proactive Salon Operations Manager to help lead our next season of growth. For nearly 10 years, The Hair Lounge has served the Killeen-Fort Cavazos community as a trusted multicultural salon known for healthy hair, professional development, and an elevated guest experience. We are looking for someone who is excited to bring fresh energy, strong leadership, and consistent organization to our growing brand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will help keep the salon organized, the team supported, and our standards consistently maintained. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, work closely with the owner, and become an important part of The Hair Lounge's continued growth. A cosmetology license is not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily salon operations and workflow Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready environment Monitor attendance, professionalism, and salon expectations Hold team members accountable fairly and consistently Support scheduling, checkouts, and client communication Resolve client and team concerns professionally Manage opening and closing procedures Track rebooking, reviews, retail sales, and performance goals Assist with inventory, meetings, training, and special events Identify concerns early and take initiative to find solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience required Salon, spa, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience preferred Comfortable using booking software, email, and basic technology Dependable with reliable transportation Saturday availability required
