US Patriot is seeking an experienced Seamstress/Tailor (part-time) to deliver high-quality uniform alterations and garment services for our Soldiers and Airmen. This role goes beyond basic hemming

it requires precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship that ensures service members wear their uniforms with pride and confidence.

You'll take accurate measurements, perform fittings, and execute alterations efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Read and accurately identify customer needs according to the Work Instruction Document.\nTake measurements and mark garments for alterations, using problem-solving skills to address individual sizing issues.\nPerform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency, including: Adjusting shirt lengths and tails, tapering shirts, and modifying waists\nHemming trousers, mending tears, and replacing zippers\nApplying patches, name strips, and striping Operate industrial sewing machinery in a safe and proper manner\nEnsure high-quality, accurate work while meeting daily production and performance expectations\nPerform other duties as assigned to support business needs

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

High school diploma or GED equivalent required\nPrevious experience in alterations, or equivalent trade/technical training or coursework required\nProficient with commercial and industrial sewing equipment\nAbility to read and follow work instructions in English\nExtremely detail-oriented and quality-focused; you notice mistakes and correct them\nStrong visual acuity and hand dexterity, with the ability to see fine details and perform precise sewing tasks\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with good interpersonal abilities.\nAbility to stand or sit for long periods and perform tasks requiring bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
