Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, offering expert guidance on design, placement, and color choices based on principles of color theory and professional art techniques. Prepare clients for tattooing sessions by explaining procedures, safety protocols, and aftercare instructions clearly and confidently. Execute tattooing procedures with precision, adhering strictly to sterilization protocols, sanitation standards, and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Maintain a clean and organized studio by sterilizing equipment, managing supplies, and following all tattoo and piercing safety regulations diligently. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively, addressing client questions or concerns, and ensuring a positive overall experience. Assist with store management duties as needed, including inventory management of inks, needles, and other supplies. Promote studio services such as body piercing or additional art offerings through friendly client interactions and sales techniques. Experience Valid license as a professional tattoo artist with proven experience in creating diverse tattoo styles. Demonstrated knowledge of tattooing techniques, color theory, illustration, and professional art or design principles. Experience in body piercing is a plus but not required; relevant certifications are preferred. Strong understanding of sanitation practices specific to tattooing and piercing environments. Familiarity with first aid protocols to handle emergencies confidently when necessary. Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
