In this role, you will bring clients' visions to life through custom tattoo designs, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Your creativity, technical skill, and excellent customer service will help clients feel confident and satisfied with their tattoo experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your artistry while working in a vibrant, supportive setting that values innovation and professionalism. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and design concepts, providing expert guidance and suggestions. Prepare skin for tattooing by cleaning, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed. Operate tattoo machines with precision to create detailed artwork in accordance with client specifications and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering strictly to health regulations related to sanitation and sterilization. Manage client consultations, appointments, and follow-up care instructions to ensure a positive experience from start to finish. Promote the studio's services through social media management and product demos to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Upsell additional aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers or body waxing when appropriate, enhancing client satisfaction and revenue. Experience
MUST BE LICENSED IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA!
!! Proven experience working as a professional tattoo artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles and techniques. Knowledge of sanitation standards, sterilization procedures, and safety protocols specific to tattooing environments. Familiarity with salon or studio management software such as Millennium or
MINDBODY
for scheduling and client records. Experience working in the beauty or aesthetic industry, including skills in dermabrasion, chemical peels, or other skin treatments is a plus. Strong communication skills for client consultation, education on aftercare, and team collaboration. Ability to manage retail sales of tattoo-related products or skincare items effectively. Background in customer service with a focus on guest services ensures clients feel valued throughout their visit.
