Who we are looking for:

Our Front Office Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The front office receptionist is responsible for:

Customer interactions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
Scheduling and confirming appointments.
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
Checking in/out clients, presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
Computer knowledge is a must!
Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions along side a doctor.
Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal care and non-medical pet care (i.e., vaccine schedules, heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
Must be able to work under high stress and sometimes fast paced conditions as well as multi-task and prioritize.
Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste and bio-hazards) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside. RVT/Vet Assistant
cross trained to do all of the above as well as assist the doctors in procedures and hospital care of patients. Must be able to do venipuncture, set and IV Catheters, X-rays, +
surgical assisting and monitoring, medication administration, & help to keep the practice clean.
