Our veterinary assistants work both in the front and back of the hospital, striving to provide excellent customer service and deliver top notch patient care. This is a

PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY DEMANDING

job that requires heavy lifting at times . Duties include (but are not limited to):

• -Greeting clients and patients
• -Patient intake
• -Maintaining orderly medical records and client information
• -Filing
• -Appointment scheduling
• -Inventory maintenance
• -Filling prescriptions (requires excellent attention to detail)
• -Maintaining a clean facility at all times by adhering to hospital cleaning procedures
• -Laboratory sample processing
• -Surgical assisting
• -Restraining animals
• -Cleaning kennels as needed
• -Radiography We are looking for individuals who have had experience with animals.

Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred, but not required. A willingness and ability to learn on the job is essential and good written and communication skills are a must.
