In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians and veterinary assistants. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and surgical suites through thorough cleaning and sanitation practices Monitor animals after anesthesia to ensure safe recovery Communicate effectively with clients regarding post-operative care and recovery instructions Monitor and maintain prescription food stocks and prescription drugs. Provide attentive animal handling, including dog handling and general animal restraint, to ensure safety during examinations and procedures Assist other veterinary assistants with clinical tasks. Support surgical procedures by preparing animals, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting with post-operative care Prior kennel experience or veterinary clinic experience would be ideal.
