Small Animal Hospital seeking Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are a busy Small Animal Hospital just South of Boston off 93. Looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant professional preferably with significant animal handling experience. No after-hours call.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
• Prepare and restrain animals for procedures
• Clean and sanitize animal enclosures and equipment
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior, handling, and restraint techniques
• Familiarity with common veterinary medications and procedures
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
